New copy of ‘Jane Eyre’

Just received this beautiful old 1943 copy of ‘Jane Eyre’ in the mail, and I am in love with this treasure of a book!

How amazing are these letter pressed wood engravings by Fritz Eichenberg? There are something like 16 in the book. I am in love.

I’ve been on a mission, hunting for old books to both love and display on my new flea market find - an antique barbershop shelf.  On one of my Etsy adventures, I fell upon a new favorite shop, Hardcover Vintage and found myself these lovely treasures…

   

  

Images taken straight from her Store. Aren’t they lovely? She even color codes her book sets so you can coordinate them with whatever color scheme you’re creating at home. They are now lovingly arranged on my shelf and looking ever so handsome, if I do say so myself. Thanks, Kim!
